A Lovely Christmas <3
Home is a wonderful thing and you don't know that you are truly there until you are surrounded by those you love. My most dear and treasured times have been more amplified since coming back home. I am absolutely in love with my God, family, and community. Thank you Lord for coming to save me and thank you for giving us opportunities to celebrate your love. Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!

Waiting and debating on Mars...I mean London :)
Can you believe that it is all ready December??? I can't, and to be honest I love this time of the year because it means being with the people I love more then ever. Call me a mushy dork but, I love the idea of family coming together. Plus, the Holidays (capitalized on purpose) at my house are most lovely and entertaining at the same time. I am still in London right now and have about 6 days left here. Wow!! That is unbelievable when I think about the fact that I have been here for all most three months.
I will be trying some new things out once I get home. I will be making myself some vintage clothes out of recycled clothes which should be fun and frustrating at the same time ((gotta love the adventurous woman in me)) hehe. I can hand sew but, I have yet to learn how to properly use a sewing machine. I have made a long skirt before out of old jeans that I could not fit or that had holes in them. That turned out very nice and lot's of people have been asking me to make them one. Gosh! could they really afford me? hehe.
Okay so I had my final convener (basically a meeting for art presentations; for those that don't know), and it went very well. The only thing that I would have changed was how I presented it. I did not have enough money at the time to print out the photos so, I had them on my laptop. That was the only thing that they critiqued and other then that they loved the photos. I do have to say that being out here I have gotten more confident with the camera and have learned more about my shooting style and bringing a person's personality out from the camera. If you want to see the photos I presented in my final presentation just follow this link http://decorumphotography.wordpress.com/ This will take you straight to me and my friend's blog. That is the name of our photography business. I will also have some other pictures I have taken on http://grayscalephotography.blogspot.com/ . Don't mind the title because that is not my personal business anymore. I just can't change the name of it. So many pictures, so little time. I just have an essay and a taxi to book and I am good to go! For now, you can enjoy some of my silliness. Later friends!

Snapping In London

Okay so apart from the usual I am working on a project. Well, actually I should say two projects. One is for my final art presentation here at Goldsmiths University. the other is a strange and fun project (not to say that the rest are not) but, this is more for my *evil laugh* personal use. I may put it up on my website; not sure if I will but it will be interesting. I am calling it "Snapping in London". Catchy I know! But I think it follows suit very well. For some time now I have been trying to figure out whether I am personally snapping while here or just taking pictures of people snapping while here in London. Its great though. So I went around a few spots taking pictures and one of my fellow peers let me borrow her for some shots. These are not completely out of ordinary shots but they are a start. I am now pretty determined to follow on the little adventure of picture play. Play time is good I think. And it is a wonder to find out what exactly come upon the eye of a lens. I guess many people can not understand the thinking of an artist; and to honest I am not an artist that is just sold out into photography but I dibble in other parts such as painting, drawing, dancing of course, singing, but my art project will have a combination of painting and photography. I am excited about it.

Update!
Okay so I know that I have not been updating this on a regular but things have been pretty darn busy here in London. I hope that you all like the two videos and some of the pix I posted. It is now November and I must say that I am ready to go home. I know that I am out of what they call the honeymoon stage of things but I miss my family and friends. I must say that I do have a new appreciation for home. I have been journeling as well as doing some videos pn my computer but I just not posted them. Not sure if I should. Not even sure if anyone cares...lol....anyway if you happen to come to London do not be surprised if you hear some people say "ya" at the end of everything. It is just like Americans saying "like" or "you know". It is interesting I am not going to lie. I like it here I am just missing family and friends is all. Seems like everyone is having so much fun without me. :(. Okay have to go get ready for bad and I will ramble later.

Out and About.
Things have been moving along so fast. I have been getting settled into my classes (modules) and I have some studio space which is very awesome. I just booked a trip to Paris which I am excited about and am going to be doing some more traveling about here in London. I am going to the Ripely's Believe It Or Not! Museum and I am going to Madame Tussauds Friday and am going to check out some vintage stores. I also have some pix that I need to post from when I went to some art galleries over this weekend. I am having a great time here and will try and see if I can post some video soon. Love you guys!
